Responsible Gambling
Gambling should be fun, not harmful. We take responsible gambling seriously.
Our Commitment
OddsOps provides sports betting analysis and pick recommendations. We are an analytics service, not a sportsbook — we do not accept or process any wagers. Every betting decision is yours and yours alone.
We believe in transparency (every pick tracked, every result verified) and in promoting healthy, responsible gambling habits.
Guidelines for Responsible Gambling
- 01Set a budget. Decide how much you can afford to lose before you start, and stick to it. Never bet money you need for essentials like rent, bills, or groceries.
- 02Set time limits. Decide in advance how much time you will spend on gambling activities and take regular breaks.
- 03Never chase losses. Losing is part of gambling. Trying to win back money by increasing your bets leads to bigger losses.
- 04Don't gamble when emotional. Avoid betting when you are stressed, upset, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- 05Treat it as entertainment. Gambling should be a form of entertainment, not a way to make money or solve financial problems.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
If you recognize any of these behaviors in yourself, it may be time to seek help:
- Spending more money or time on gambling than you can afford
- Difficulty controlling or stopping gambling
- Neglecting work, school, or family responsibilities
- Borrowing money or selling things to fund gambling
- Lying to friends or family about gambling habits
- Feeling anxious, restless, or irritable when not gambling
- Gambling to escape problems or relieve negative feelings
- Chasing losses with bigger or more frequent bets
